New year-New Beginnings

We all look at the New Year with hope and also with gratitude. So much has passed yet so much to look forward to. Most hotels are revising their budgets and looking at inventive ways to ameliorate the downturn. Browsing the web one can see those who have basically given up and are laying people off as the only solution and others who are using new approaches to gain a bit of the smaller market. I am getting ready to return to China to facilitate seminars on leadership, a management tool which will enable hotels to weather the storm in a positive way and position them to be better prepared to take advantage when the upturn appears.
